Barking & Dagenham is a diverse and dynamic London borough. However it has a number of serious health issues that need to be addressed.

The Public Health Network is an initiative that aims to bring people together from all sections of the community (health professionals, the local authority, voluntary & community groups, businesses and residents) to work towards a common goal: that of tackling real-life public health issues.

  • Our aim is to promote healthier lifestyles, by encouraging residents to become engaged with healthier activities
  • Getting residents to learn more about good health and the factors that contribute to it
  • Make information accurate and readily accessible to all so that people can better understand health concerns and learn about resources for improvement

This is your chance to get involved in improve the health and wellbeing of people who live and work in Barking & Dagenham.
