Barking & Dagenahm NHS is looking for males in full or part times employment within Barking & Dagenham area to take part in one hour focus group in February.
Cook & Eat activities are being commissioned under the Eatwell element of Well London in 6 London Boroughs; Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Haringey, Hounslow, Islington and Lewisham.
There is a total budget of £11,400 available in each LSOA to fund project activity from April 2010 to March 2011.
Cook & Eat activities are directed at engaging specific Lower Super Output Area (LSOA) communities in each of these boroughs and should benefit a minimum of 40 members from the LSOA. Following successful completion of a number of Cook & Eat courses in years one and two of Well London, we are now particularly keen to receive proposals for a more creative or innovative approach in delivering healthy cooking training and behaviour change activities related to healthy eating. Should you be interested in applying, in the first instance, go to the Well London website where you can get further information and download an application form. Please read the information available on the website before contacting the team.
