CVS Development Team

Since its launch in 2008, the Development Team continue to provide support to voluntary, community and faith groups in Barking & Dagenham. We continue to work with groups to enhance and develop their confidence, leadership and skills to develop their capacity to provide services within the community.

Our areas of provision continue to focus on providing comprehensive support to improve the management and governance issues of voluntary groups in Barking & Dagenham.

We continue to support groups to become more sustainable by offering: 

• On-going one-to-one, developmental support 
• Delivering Action Learning Sets 
• FREE training 
• Organisational Health checks and work with groups to complete the actions identified 
• Opportunities on our Mentoring Programme either as mentors or mentees
• Trustee support and development
