DevelopmentOrganisational Health Checks

An Organisational Health Check is a diagnostic process completed with a Development Officer where we assess your needs and develop an 'action plan' to move your project or organisation forward. This may include starting an organisation, strategic/business planning, fundraising, monitoring & evaluation or improving governance.

The developmental needs highlighted by the Development Officer once the Health check has been completed are then translated into an action plan that the Development Officer will support your organisation to implement any necessary changes and/or signpost you to any information or training as identified.

  • Take a good look at your organisation
  • Highlight what you’re doing well
  • Identify gaps and weaknesses
  • Make a plan for growing stronger

This service is available FREE OF CHARGE to community and voluntary organisations in Barking & Dagenham. Users will receive free support and advice from our Development Team.

UPDATE: Over 20 groups have completed an organisational health check
