Commissioning is an on-going process that applies to all services, whether they are provided by the local authority, NHS, other public agencies, or by the independent sector.

Commissioning is at the very heart of providing effective care and support for both children and adults. It is the process by which statutory authorities decide how to spend their money to get the best services possible for local people.

We are here to provide support to Third Sector Organisations in relation to commissioning, as well as to support statutory authorities to make their commissioning processes accessible to the voluntary sector.
